Sacramento Earth Day 2008

ECOS's many partners are hosting a series of events in the weeksbefore and after, including: "Green the Grid," a celebration of local businesses andorganizations that are greening their operations (coordinated by Midtown Grid); the annual"Wildflower Weekend" hosted by the Sacramento Chapter of the California Native PlantSociety; "Build, Work, Live Green" tours of developments, community gardens, andimportant trees; "Green Second Saturday" on April 12; and the annual "Creek Week" hosted by the Sacramento Urban Creeks Council. http://www.sacramentoearthday.net/
