In 2002 a husband and wife team opened the first Sargent’s Coffee kiosk in Sacramento. Today, we buy, roast and serve the finest coffee available. Our coffees are carefully selected and roasted daily in small batches and shipped within 24 hours to retail and wholesale customers around the globe. As a result, you will not find a fresher, smoother, or more flavorful cup anywhere. Our passion and attention to detail is evident in our coffees. A little history on my favorite coffee shop...
I love Sargent’s House of Coffee. After visiting almost all of the coffee shops in midtown Sargent’s has impressed me the most. The environment is just as a coffee shop should be – jazz music in the background, couches to lounge on and read the paper, art on the walls - and best of all awesome employees. Some mornings the owner is behind the espresso machine. I thought it was him in the logo but he informed me that it was his father. Apparently his father worked as a conservationist in the North West and while he was working he came across an abandoned bear cub which he took home and raised (hence the logo). When I asked him why he used this as the logo and not a giant S, or a fireman, he said that he wanted his business to be known for the same values his father held. So far they are succeeding. Sargent’s is the real deal – the finest coffee and espresso drinks – plain and simple.
The best coffee in town.
Its not often that you find a coffee shop so dedicated to the passion of roasting beans and preparing your drink. I love this shop, it is with out a doubt my favorite coffee house in town and maybe anywhere. The roaster of the beans has made their skill into a true art form, and you can taste it in every cup you have. Also the service can't be beat. I have never been in this shop and had a bad time. I would highly recommend Sargents to anyone in the area or visiting.

Everyday, I look forward to making a stop at Sargent's for my yummy Vanilla Soy Cappucino. From the moment you walk through the door and smell the coffee to the moment you walk out the door with the best cup of coffee your taste buds have ever experienced. However, it's not just the great taste of their coffee. It's the whole experience that makes this place feel like home! You feel like you are a part of the family and can taste the love that is put into your cup of java.
