If you haven’t met Marylon and her entourage of helpers/employees… If you haven’t perused the beguiling and time-loved finds beneath the WX Freeway at 21st Street… If you haven’t visited vendors with corndog, kettle corn or coffee in hand on any given second Sunday of the month… My goodness ~ I have to ask ~ Have you really been living?!continue

    Have Fun on a Sunday

by manny, Monday 18 of August, 2008 [11:08:34]

Every second Sunday the antique fair takes place, if your looking for anything from accessories to furniture that is unique you have to check out the antique fair.  It’s also a good date idea or to spend a day with friends.  You never know what you will discover, it’s always a pleasurable experience.

Best Way to Spend a Sunday

by Melanie Noel Light, Tuesday 08 of April, 2008 [16:06:22]

I can't tell you how over-stimulated I get looking at all the antiques and old stuff here! Well, maybe I could but I'm too tired from looking at all the antiques and old stuff here! Pure bliss on two blocks of freeway-covered pavement.

My Second Sunday at the Sacramento Antique Faire!

by PaulaInMidtown, Friday 28 of March, 2008 [18:06:43]

Satisfies my vintage sweet-tooth! I always go to Second Saturday and then I go to Second Sunday....at the Sacramento Antique Faire! It takes me a good four hours to complete my treck through two parking lots full of vendors....but oh what fun! Everyone is willing to dicker and love to chat it up! If you have a tendancy to be chilly, bring gloves and a scarf...even in spring.....underneath the concrete freeway can be cold. Easy free parking in adjacent parking lots. The best way to spend a Sunday!

delicious! Furl this! digg this! stumbleupon this!
