Man Buying
I am a man and I wanted something for my wife. Something sexy but no fake like the ones on the mall.
Plus I wanted thing more private cause I feel funny at the mall with all these people lookn at me thru the window.
I walked into this store and first it smelled great. Then I found some lingerie that was no nonsense see thru and loose
that I could get off her like now.. but she looked so pretty in it I wanted her to keep in on for awhile before
I had to have her. Plus she really like what I bought her for once she thanked me allot.
Thanks to Miss Susan she helped me pick the size and get exactly what I want. I am going
back for more. My wife is very happy...
Man Customer...
Love this store!!!
I have been a loyal patroness of Susan's store for over a decade and highly recommend it. If you are looking
for unique fashion for a prom, a cruise, a romantic picnic, your wedding, a shower or any occasion you
should defnitely stop here first. Susan buys from the most innovative and creative designers so there is
always something new and different on her racks! Don't miss this store for yourself, friends, office mates or
family. There is something intriguing for everyone with an eye for fashion and distinctive tastes.
One of a Kind Unique Experience
The name Tres Chic is synononomous with Tres Chic service. I have been shopping at Tres Chic for almost 15 years. I have watched the ever changing and evolution of the shop and that's what keeps me going back. Always something fresh and new every week. Stepping through the doors of Tres Chic is just the beginning of a fabulous experience. From the ever friendly hello from owner Susan Tiesing and her sidekick Roxy the cockerspaniel to the elegant leopard print dress bags as you are checking out, it is an experience that no one should leave this earth without trying. In oher words the shop is "to die for". So put your running shoes on and get right down there, what are you waiting for...
P.S. A comment to the privous review from Mom 2 Maya- what a stupid woman you are to take a child into a high end boutique and expect that any owner would allow children to play with Jovani gowns. My suggestion to you is to keep shopping a K Mart and let your daughter play there.
I've NEVER been treated so poorly!
Tres Chic was open for Second Saturday on June 14, 2008. My 3-year old daughter, Maya, her dad, and I walked into this store and while Maya's dad conversed with a friend, she and I proceeded to head back to where the prom/special event gowns were hanging. My daughter is very fond of sparkly, glittery items as could be evidenced by her sparkly pink shoes she was wearing. She and I were oohing and aahhing the dresses, simply gently pully them out to look at the front of the dresses, as they were hanging quite close together on the rack. All of a sudden, I hear this "No, no....don't touch!" and I turn to this glaring woman behind the counter. I was not sure who she was talking to...was it me or my daughter or both? I was a little taken aback, as this was an open-house type of event in which the purpose is for local business to display their wares, so to speak, and get to know the local market. I did not say anything, but I felt uncomfortable, as I wasn't sure if I couldn't simply move the dress out a little bit to see what the front looked like. Maya's hands were free of any food/drink as were mine, we were neatly dressed, she did not have a runny nose and I never left her unattended to run amuck.
I noticed a group of women come in, who were fingering the dresses, many of whom were holding drinking cups and did not hear any admonitions from the woman at the counter. My daugher in her excitement, pointed and then barely touched two very sparkly dresses and I told her immediately that she was not allowed to.l Next thing I know, the woman is telling only US not to touch her "inventory". I asked her why the other women were allowed to peruse the dresses and also if the dresses weren't meant to be touched, WHY were they not in a plastic cover or WHY were they in such an accessible area with absolutely NO signage indicating that the garments were not meant to be touched.
This woman, whom I found out to be the owner, just went berserk. She called me an irresponsible mother, she claimed my daugher's hands were unclean and that we should just "get out of here"! Wow, what anger and hostility! I felt that her tone and demeaner were disrespectful and downright insulting and that her reaction was inconsistent with the situation. This is the way a businesswoman speaks to a potentiall customer? Or did she assume, due to my dark hair, skin, and eyes that there was no way I was in the market for one of her dresses? I was shaken and very hurt as was my daughter...who the rest of the night said....."But mom, my hands are clean, why was the lady so mad at me?" All I can say is that I will NEVER set foot in this business AND I will let every mother's group I am involved with, know about this business owner's incredibly rude behavior towards me and my family.
