Double Diamond Security Systems offers the best in home and small business security alarm systems.  Equipment is manufactured by Honeywell, the leader in alarm industry electronics.  Yes, the same Honeywell that is world renowned in the Aerospace Industry.  Installations are done by Mike Wanless (owner) or a highly skilled technician trained by Mike.  Service calls are rare due to the high quality of the equipment and installation practices.  However, should your system require service it is a company objective to conduct that service within 24 hours of receiving the request.  Whether it’s 2 months, 2 years, or 20 years from now, you will still be as important to this company as you are today.

If our offer is not the best deal you can get, we will advise you on which competitor to go with.  Our goal is your satisfaction with all aspects of your alarm installation.  It seems like every company out there will promise a free BASIC (3 doors and a motion) system and then, in fine print, you discover the $99 installation fee.  Double Diamond does NOT charge $99 for a free system.  Free IS free.  A 24 month monitoring contract at $32.95/month and acceptable credit score is required to qualify for this standard offer.  Here is what comes with your free system:

1 Master Control Panel (the brains)
1 LCD Keypad (for arming/disarming)

1 RJ31X Phone Connection
3 Door/Window Contacts (all door/windows if pre-wired)
1 Motion Detector (with up to 100 lbs pet immunity if required)

This is a minimum. Additional points of protection are available and vary in cost by type of device.  Our prices are virtually unbeatable. You deserve the best deal you can get and we’ll work WITH you on that, not against you.

The monitoring is a flat $32.95/month, which includes lifetime free service as long as your system is monitored.  Some companies charge trip fees as well as labor for service.  We don’t.  Some companies add extra monitoring fees for having additional devices such as remotes, smoke detectors, etc.  We don’t.

About The Owner

Coming from northern Michigan in 2004 with his wife and 3 young sons, Michael Wanless was appalled by the “quantity over quality” mentality that seemed to prevail in California.  In less than 6 months, he had already established a reputation as an excellent installer and service representative and felt he could provide AFFORDABLE EXCELLENCE and bring quality back to the forefront.

In 2007, Double Diamond Security Systems was born, offering top of the line equipment at unbeatable prices and installed the way he would install in his own house or his mother’s house.  To accomplish this, he brings experience (since 1994), honesty, integrity, a dedication to customer satisfaction, and a good old fashioned work ethic.

His abbreviated resume:

1) 14 years experience holding positions of Install Manager, Service Manager, and Alarm Division Manager

2) 1994 Graduate from Edutek Professional Colleges in San Diego with an Electronics Technician diploma.                                                       

3) In 2003, achieved NICET LEVEL II on his first attempt (one of only a few to do so).  NICET is the National Institute of Certified Engineering Technologies and it recognizes experience and knowledge in various electronics and engineering fields.
