I heard someone recently comment on the number of “mediocre restaurants” opening in Sac and it made me feel two things: A. relieved that I’m not the only really picky (discriminating?) patron around these here parts, and B. a little concerned that we’re being too critical.
But then there’s C. I’ve lived in several others cities and states in my adulthood and have experienced some stellar dining situations, so feel there’s no reason why Sac can’t deliver the same. As well (let’s just call this D), I appreciate a business’ willingness to improve and am always willing to give second chances. But to me, not focusing on customer service is the worst thing a restaurant can do. Nothing, in my eyes, beats friendliness and good service. Because no amount of out-of-this-world food and/or mind-blowing ambiance can erase the memory of a bad ‘experience’ from my palate. But then again, did we mention out-of-this-world food and mind-blowing ambiance? Only in that Sacramento still seems to be begging for it.
