I don't eat eggs, which makes 95 percent of the Crepeville menu off limits to me. Still, the remaining five percent is quite good. The Fuji salad -- with apples, walnuts, gorgonzola cheese and vinaigrette -- is delicious. Served with a baguette or focaccia bread, it is very filling. The half order is plenty for lunch and inexpensive. On my last visit I had a vegetable soup that was one of the best soups I have ever had. Though it was part of a soup/salad combo, both the soup and salad portions were large and I took the salad back to work with me for a late-afternoon snack. The potatoes that accompany the crepes are well seasoned, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. A “side dish” of them can suffice as a meal. Crepeville is a good choice for a casual and inexpensive lunch in Midtown. Beer and wine are available, making it a viable dinner option, too. Make sure to visit the ATM before you come – credit and debit cards are not accepted.
Who would ever go to a crepe restaurant to order a hamburger? Well, I'm a big fan of hamburgers, and a friend recommended the dish. Boy was I surprised to find that the best burger in town IS at Crepeville. You will not be disappointed!!!

Yum! It sounds silly, but do you know that its an art to make perfect poached eggs? I swear, everytime no matter the location, perfect everytime....beautiful whites! I have since deleted the photo off of my phone, sorry! I always find parking in front of the church on L street. They have a great selection, but I usually end up with my eggs and homefries, second choice is eggs benedict....my guests are never disapointed at this fun midtown location.
Ice Cream Cone Crepe

There use to be this place in South Sacramento that had the best Ice Cream Cone Crepes, but unfortunately they went out of business and my heart sank. So the only other crepe place I knew of was Crepeville. Crepeville's crepes are really good, but they can be better if they created my all time favorite: the Nutella, strawberry, Ice cream, cone crepe. basically what it is is that you put nutella on the crepe, put ice cream and strawberries in the middle, roll it up to look like a cone, put a plastic cover on it so that it doesn't get icky on my fingers, put some whip cream and drizzle some chocolate and wha la.. Ice Cream Cone Crepe. I love to sit and eat a crepe, but its almost summer and I'd love to walk around down town with a cone crepe in one hand on a 2nd Satuday or any day of the week. I would honestly go to Crepeville more if they had this on their menu. I asked a waiter if they can make it but they said that management didn't like to change the menu. I asked if they had a suggestion box, but they didn't. So hopefully someone from management could read this and add this to the menu. I think it would be a hit in down town! And Crepeville would be my all time favorite crepe place!
Excellent savory and sweet crepes. If you are undecided which type to order, do what me and hubby do: one orders a sweet (nutella anyone?) the other a savory and then share. You can't go wrong. Service at this location is much, much better than at the Davis locale where it can take up to an hour for an order for 2.

If you ever frequent San Francisco’s crepe cafes and feel as if you are in one of them when you visit Crepeville in Sacramento, you probably were in one that was owned by the same guys. Family-operated by a band of brothers, two fo which; Walid and Gerard – are sticklers for perfection when it comes to their servers and cooks as each crepe entrée is carefully designed and dropped off nicely to each guest who is delighted to be inside this open-café.
The crepes themselves aren’t that fancy but the idea is definitely new to Sacramento, making Crepeville a place to check out.
Good food, generous portions
