Friendly corner of France (and the French-speaking world) in Sacramento
I discovered the Alliance Francaise de Sacramento through the wonderful French Film Festival several years ago. Hadn't spoken or read French in years and wanted to brush up for a trip. Now, even if euros cost to much for trips abroad, I keep my brain working with interesting classes, go to monthly Cine Club sessions to watch and discuss films, borrow French movies from the 400+ video library, attend fun and educational events...and have found lots of new friends.
