Stephanie Baker firmly believes that everyone deserves quality housing. She is committed to donating 5% of each sale commission to Sacramento County community agencies that advocate for, manage, and develop affordable housing for families and children.
Since making her commitment in 2004, Stephanie has donated over $10,000 to Legal Services of Northern California, Sacramento Mutual Housing Association, Sacramento Housing Alliance, Fund, Inc (Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment's nonprofit wing) and to Sacramento Neighborhood Housing Services.

The best real estate agent in town!
Stephanie Baker is part artist, part visionary, part hand-holder, part cheerleader - but total professional. As a first time home buyer I was scared that the process of buying a home would be overwhelming and that my agent would push me to buy outside my budget. With Stephanie, the opposite turned out to be true. She spent countless hours listening to my hopes and wishes for a first house, taking me to the various types of housing on the market (condos, townhouses, new homes, old homes) for me to understand the Sacramento market. As she took me to view houses, she make me feel free to speak my mind and quickly learned my likes and dislikes. This translated into less wasted time for me.
Once I made an offer on a home, Stephanie reminded in constant contact updating me about negotiations, the closing time line, etc. I had no idea all the things I should know when buying a house, but thankfully I had an agent who was on top of her game and kept detail files and gave me copies of everything.
For a young single person like me, having my family involved in the home buying process was important, Stephanie was totally willing to accommodate my family when they would come to town she would take them to look at homes and often carbon copied my mom on emails. It made me and my parents feel better about making a major purchase.
Lastly, because Stephanie was so good, I have a desire to keep in touch with her, I tell everyone how wonderful she is and offer her contact information to my friends and colleagues all the time. And, because I'm a new homeowner, I'm always needing services around the house. Instead of using yelp or craigslist to try and find good vendors, I use Stephanie because they've been pre-screened by her.

As a first time home buyer, I was nervous about finding the right person to help me choose my first home. I was moving from the Boston area and knew very little about Sacramento and where I wanted to live. From Boston, Stephanie took the time to answer questions about everything from the best neighborhoods to the best restaurants. When it came time for me to select a realtor to help me with my home search, I knew I would be in good hands with Stephanie. Stephanie walked me through every step of the process and was very patient and explained everything to me. She understood everything I was looking for in a home and even introduced me to different types of homes and neighborhoods I would never have found without her.
