Hey there Midtowners, Sactowners, and other Gridsters, It's not everyday that we can take pride in our state's actions; however, The Guru fancies an activist court that measures the humanity of our decisions. I learned early this morning from blogger and radio personality, David Barton, that the California Supreme Court overturned the ban on gay marriage.

How anyone can ban an action over which two consenting adults take boggles the mind! There are a lot of things that people may not like, but it doesn't confer the ability to control the actions of others.

Love cannot be legislated. 

Today The Guru is proud to be Californian.

Charge onward to the whole country to recognize the inherent humanity of each citizen and their relationships.
